Sony Dw Q28a Driver For Mac

Hi i have just bought a power mac g5 and have not used one before as i was a p.c kinda guy, now im converted i am stuck. I have a SONY DVD RW DW-Q28A but it does not burn discs. When i go into about this mac it says that 'disc burning not supported' i have been looking all over the internet to try and find out if there is something that i need to download but not had any luck, maybe not looking in the right place, does anyone no where to look or what to do. I also have a installation disc 'imac g5 mac OSX version 10.4. Any help anyone can give me would be appriciated as its really annoying me now.
